Red Bull Music Festival Berlin To Live Stream Janelle Monáe's Public Lecture

(AllHipHop News) Wondaland label head and avant-garde musician Janelle Monáe is set to take part in the Red Bull Music Festival Berlin. The afrofuturist/activist will conduct a public lecture about her life and career at the event.

Germany resident Christine Kakaire is moderating "A Conversation with Janelle Monae." The presentation will be live streamed via Red Bull Music's Facebook Page and YouTube Channel on Friday, September 14 at 2 pm ET.

Monáe released her critically-acclaimed album Dirty Computer in April. She previously earned praise for 2010's The ArchAndroid and 2013's The Electric Lady.

The 32-year-old actress also appeared in the Oscar-winning film Moonlight and the box office hit Hidden Figures. Up next for Janelle Monáe is a role in Robert Zemeckis' fantasy drama Welcome to Marwen.
