Terror Squad’s Remy Ma is currently working on an untitled follow-up to her solo debut There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story.

The Bronx rapper’s first album was released in February and features appearances from Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo, the late Big Pun, Fat Joe and Ivy Queen, among others.

The album has produced two hit singles – “Whuteva” and “Conceited (There’s Something About Remy),” with the latter garnering more success.

The latest single, “Feels So Good,” is currently gaining radio spins.

“Every director is sending treatments like ‘We gotta shoot [the video] in Jamaica,” Remy Ma told AllHipHop.com. “‘We gotta shoot it in Spain.’ I’m like, ‘I wanna shoot it wherever I probably would never go in my life.'”

Despite several guest appearances and the hit singles, There’s Something About Remy was met with tepid results.

But Remy Ma still speaks optimistically about the overall life of the album.

“The album is actually going kind of good,” Remy Ma continued. “After this album, I have a whole bunch of deals on the table. Even though we didn’t have the biggest success with the numbers and sales of my album, it’s still a great album.”

The rapper is already at work on her sophomore album, due early next year.

“I have another album I want to put out [at] the beginning of the first quarter of next year,” she said. “The numbers for the album are there, I’m just working on the commas now. Once we get the commas in the right places everything will be cool.”

Remy Ma recently wrapped up a joint tour with Keyshia Cole and has been in talks for a solo tour and her own reality television show.

“I’m also trying to work on this reality show, so I’m tryin’ to put the tour together with the show.”
