Rick Ross Discusses His Upcoming Memoir Titled 'Hurricanes'

"It’s gonna be a movie, trust me."

(AllHipHop News) William Roberts II (aka Rick Ross) dropped his tenth studio album Port of Miami 2 on August 9. Ross recruited Drake, Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Wale, Lil Wayne, Denzel Curry, and more artists for the LP.

Besides sharing his life stories via music, Rozay is also planning to get even more personal with a memoir. The "Gold Roses" rapper spoke to Amazon Music about his Port of Miami 2 collaborations and his forthcoming autobiography tentatively titled Hurricanes.

"I had been approached to write a memoir for the last several years, and it’s nothing that I never considered on a serious note. Not once," said Ross. "When I woke up in the hospital - my mom, my family, my friends, everybody - that was something that I said I’m gonna step on the gas on. Because I understand my life, I know it’s a movie. It’s unbelievable."

He continued, "The things that I’ve seen, I wouldn’t believe it, because it really is hard to conceive. The era I came up in in Miami, it's unbelievable. So Hurricanes is, once again, me approaching the beautiful days as well as the rough and just giving an unadulterated, clear view of what it was like coming up Rozay from when I was a youngster… It’s gonna be a movie, trust me."
