After recently being freed from Fayette County Jail on bail, Rick Ross has announced that he is working on new music. The MMG boss' lawyer, Adamma McKinnnon, told The Daily Beast that his client is prepping his eighth studio album, tentatively entitled Black Dollar, and that it is "dropping soon."
McKinnon said Ross feels like he is being framed because of his celebrity status.
“He’s someone who has reached a certain plateau and there are people after celebrities like [Roberts] and looking for monetary gain.”
Ross is in high spirits though, McKinnon says.
The "Aston Martin Music" rapper was released $2 million bail after spending a week behind bars and being charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping and battery.
