(AllHipHop News) Over the last few days, Nicki Minaj took aim at several people including Joe Budden, Cardi B, Safaree, Charlamagne Tha God, and DJ Envy. Plus, the Queen Radio host addressed Rick Ross for rapping "I told Meek I wouldn't trust Nicki" on his 2017 song "Apple of My Eye." Minaj finally fired back at Rozay for speaking on her former relationship with Meek Mill.
"I went and sat down in a meeting with President Obama, and Ross was there and texted [Meek] after the meeting and said, 'Yo, this chick is a keeper,'" recalled Nicki on The Joe Budden Podcast.
She continued, "I saw the text myself with my own eyes. [Ross wrote,] 'This chick is a keeper. She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation and why you're still on probation after all these years.' And then you come out on an album, when it's time to sell some weak-ass f*cking album, and try to disrespect Nicki Minaj?" The 36-year-old New Yorker also called Rick Ross a "fat ass."
During an interview with The Breakfast Club, the 43-year-old Hip Hop veteran was asked about what Nicki told Joe Budden. Ross responded, "I mean if somebody went in to meet Obama with you, she is a keeper. Until you find out otherwise. You know what I mean?"
He added, "[Nicki] was around me a few times, but other than that, she was a huge talent. But she was playing a very important position at the time. She was in between Meek and Drake at the time. What she don't know and she may not understand, coming from a big homie like myself, playing that position - that was a very fragile role. It would be very easy to put that responsibility on her. But that ain't what I tried to make it to, but most definitely, when I seen it go sour, it would be easy to assume she may have had something to do with that. If somebody tells you they didn't, they lying. But everybody moved forward."
