RIP: Celebs React To The Death Of Charlie Murphy


The world of entertainment has been rocked by the seemingly sudden death of comedian Charlie Murphy. Murphy died after a bout with leukemia. He was 57. Many in the Hip-Hop community held Murphy in very high regard.

Jay said, “My condolences to The Murphy Family and everyone that knew Charlie Murphy personally. He was literally as close to me as any of my uncle’s HE WAS MY UNCLE. It really hurts that I’m performing on the first stage he put me on this weekend and he’s not going to be able to be there physically. I loved him and I thank him for opening doors for me and always believing in heart is sick right now. R.I.P uncle Charlie

Both Shad “Bow Wow” Moss and Ludacris went to social media to express their feelings of love and admiration.

“You a legend, you an icon, legends never die,” he said, “Rest easy. Rest in paradise.”

Ludacris said, “Man…up and at it…hearing about the news about Charlie Murphy, man. It has devastated me. May he rest in peace, man.
