Roc-A-Fella Co-Founder Biggs Discussed Kanye’s Rant With Jay Z And They Miss “The Old Kanye”

BIGGS SAYS JAY Z MISSES THE OLD KANYE

(AllHipHop News) Kareem “Biggs” Burke discussed Kanye’s latest explosion of anger during an interview with Page Six at the“Reasonable Doubt” 20th anniversary pop-up shop/exhibition in New York.

Kanye made headlines again with his latest statements from the floating stage of his “Saint Pablo” tour in Seattle, Washington earlier this week.

The Chicago rapper stopped his concert mid-set to tear into someone, over their perceived lack of empathy, after Kanye’s wife was bound and gagged and then robbed of almost $10 million in jewels in Paris earlier this month.

“Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘how you feelin?’” Kanye snapped. “You wanna know how I’m feelin? Come by the house.”

“I was shocked to hear what Kanye said onstage. There was never anything rumbling…so when you hear these things in public, it’s a little shocking,” Kareem “Biggs” Burke said.

Kanye’s rant left many to wonder if there would ever be a followup to their 2011 collaborative album “Watch the Throne,” including Biggs.

“It will never be a Watch The Throne 2,” Kanye West said. “Cause it’s this TIDAL/Apple bulls##t.”

According to Biggs, he recently spoke to Kanye and he spoke highly of Jay.

But after Kanye’s latest attacks, Ye’s “big brother” may be giving him the cold shoulder for awhile.

“I’m not sure about the relationship at this point. I spoke to Jay [after Kanye’s rant] and we’re both just like, ‘We miss the old Kanye,’” Biggs told Page Six. “From what I know of Kanye, he’s usually really honest. So it sounds like something he’s going through right now. He may [say] something like that, and then three weeks later he may be back to, ‘That’s my brother.’ But at this point, with everybody’s career, we’re a little too old for rap beef.”
