Russ, Jack Harlow, Swae Lee, Lil Mosey & More Clash In ‘Crew League’ Basketball Series

Some of the hottest Hip Hop stars of today will compete for bragging rights and a grand prize.

Later this evening (February 19), Revolt will kick off season one of The Crew League. The Sean “Diddy” Combs-founded network is presenting a competition series where celebrities go head-to-head in a friendly game of basketball. The winning team in the tournament will win $100,000 with 50% of the prize money being donated to a nonprofit or social good initiative.

The Crew League delivers Revolt’s mission of creating meaningful content that shifts cultural norms and offers a fresh perspective – The Crew League is a dope way for artists to do something they love, while still giving back to causes that are important to them,” states Combs.

Tonight’s episode 1 of The Crew League will show Russ’s Team Diemon take the court against Jack Harlow’s Team Private Garden. For the second episode, Swae Lee’s Team Firefighters faces off with Lil Mosey’s Team Certified Hitmakers.

“This show was created to showcase not only the celebrity talent involved but also the ‘crews’ around them. The celebrities’ entourages are integral to the success of the entire group,” says Elie Maroun, co-founder/commissioner of The Crew League.

Maroun adds, “We had the idea to create this show after a few music industry friends decided to play a couple of pick-up basketball games in LA. After playing with PartyNextDoor, The Weeknd, and their teams, I realized if we were to broadcast this, people would love it! That’s when The Crew League was born.”

The Russ vs Jack Harlow and Swae Lee vs Lil Mosey matchups are scheduled to premiere on February 19 on the Revolt TV YouTube channel at 6 pm ET. Other names attached to the series include Lil Keed, G Herbo, The Kid LAROI, and DDG.

Plus, the Psycho Films-produced The Crew League will feature exclusive commentary from Hoops Nation’s founder Buster Scher, internet comedian Druski, and “Mood” hitmaker 24kGoldn. Viewers should also expect to see locker room confessionals, halftime entertainment, and post-game press conferences.

“We are thrilled and honored to be partnering with our mentor, Diddy, on The Crew League,” says Jordan A. Stern, co-founder of The Crew League. “Diddy helped pave the way for Elie and I to explore these types of entrepreneurial opportunities, and seeing things come full circle is a blessing.”

Stern continues, “Working with partners who also understand the consumption trends of our culturally relevant Gen Z and Millennial fans will allow us to disrupt and revolutionize current content offerings.” The final season one episodes of The Crew League will air on March 5-7. The program will also broadcast weekly on the Revolt linear TV channel on Mondays at 10 pm ET beginning February 22.
