Ryan Coogler & Chadwick Boseman Break Down The Geopolitics Of 'Black Panther'

Check out the bonus clip from the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release.

(AllHipHop News) Black Panther grossed over $690 million at domestic theaters and crossed the $1.3 billion mark internationally. Director Ryan Coogler's cultural landmark is currently the third biggest box office hit of all time in North America.

The Marvel Studios movie will soon be available for home purchase. Consumers can buy the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and On-Demand versions of Black Panther beginning May 15.

Among the bonus features, there's exclusive commentary from Coogler. Fans will also get deleted scenes, outtakes, making-of featurettes, a segment on the women of Wakanda, a round-table discussion with the filmmakers and writers, an exclusive sneak peek at Ant-Man and the Wasp, and more.

One scene omitted from the theatrical version of Black Panther shows what happened between T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and CIA Agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) right before the Wakandan king spoke at the United Nations. Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Ayo (Florence Kasumba) are part of the moment too.

Viewers can also watch the "Geopolitical Society" featurette with Coogler, Boseman, and other cast/crew members. The clip provides insight into one of the central themes of Black Panther - internationalism vs isolationism. Check it out at the top of the article.
