RZA Approves Of Kanye West’s Meeting With Donald Trump

RZA SUPPORTS KANYE’S TRUMP MEETING

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan frontman RZA is among the growing number of artists who are coming out in support of Kanye West’s recent visit to see Donald Trump.

While artists like YG, Nipsey Hussle, and even Kanye’s good friend John Legend have condemned the meeting, artists like Common, A$AP Ferg, and now RZA have are vocalizing their support for Kanye’s move.

“I haven’t spoken to him in a long time, so I don’t know where his head is at,” RZA told TMZ.com about Kanye West. “Trump is the President, and we’re going to have to talk with him, deal with him, build with him, make sure that some of the things he’s dealing with has an effect on our community. If Kanye went in to speak for our community, bong-bong.”

Even though RZA was one of the many rappers who came out in support of Hillary Clinton during the presidential election, he also said he would be open to working with Trump, so his casual reaction is not an entire surprise.

During an interview at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theater during a live scoring the Shaw Brother’s “The 36th Chamber of Shaolin Music,” RZA talked about his view on Donald Trump.

“Wu-Tang is for the children. If Mr. Trump speaks something for the children, I’m going to say, ‘Hey – he finally said something I agree with If he says something wrong, I’m going to say I disagree with it, and the same thing for Mrs. Clinton.”
