Season Three Of Donald Glover's 'Atlanta' TV Show Will Be Delayed

There will be another long break before the return of the series.

(AllHipHop News) Once again, fans of Atlanta will have to endure an extended break. Season three of the award-winning television series likely won't be back any time soon.

FX CEO John Landgraf revealed at the Television Critics Association event that another batch of episodes are delayed. He said, "I don't know whether we'll have Atlanta or not. The writers are back working right now, thank God."

Series creator Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover is preparing for more dates on the "This Is America Tour," which is named after his chart-topping, Grammy-nominated single. The multi-talented performer is also said to be working on a new album via RCA Records.

"As you might imagine, Donald Glover is sort of the king of all media, and he just has had an incredibly complicated life," explained Landgraf. "He's had personal things he's had to deal with, from injuries to other things I'd rather not say publicly that just have to do not with his personal life but his extended family."

There was a year and a half gap between the first and second seasons of Atlanta. The comedy-drama returned in 2018 to critical praise, including earning three Primetime Emmy Awards.
