Shootout Inside Of Houston Rap Studio Leaves One Dead & Cops Looking For Suspect

A tragedy unfolded inside of the Hood Kat Music Group studios last night.

(AllHipHop News) One man is dead and police are looking for a murder suspect, after a violent shootout inside of a Houston, Texas recording studio last night.

According to cops, the incident unfolded around 10:00 PM last night (March 25) as a group of people were inside of HKMG Studios in the city.

Out of nowhere, a gunman barged into the studio and started shooting. Someone inside of the studio was also packing heat and fired back.

One man was killed in the shootout. According to cops, witnesses inside of the studio are refusing to cooperate and they have yet to identify a suspect in the killing.

Hood Kat Music Group operates the studio, as well as a record label. Artists on the imprint include local rapper Breadman, Yung Jesso, Teddy Grahmz, Young Wood Winnin', and others.

Last week, the label hosted a showcase at the annual SXSW concert in Austin, Texas.
