(AllHipHop News) Peter Rosenberg's Open Late returned yesterday for its second season. Smokepurpp was the first artist guest on the Complex show. The South Florida-raised rapper revealed he's back in the studio with a veteran drummer.
"I'm actually working on an EP with Travis Barker right now," said Smokepurpp about the Blink-182 member. "I think we're gonna drop it under one name like a band."
The Bless Yo Trap mixtape maker added, "When I went into middle school and started skating, I kinda got into Blink-182 [and] Disturbed. That's when I got into more Rock like Nirvana."
Previously, Barker partnered with Yelawolf for Psycho White. He also connected with Asher Roth and Nottz for Rawther. Travis' discography features records with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Game, Royce da 5'9", Tyga, Kid Cudi, and other Hip Hop acts.
On Open Late, Rosenberg and Smokepurpp also chatted about Lil Peep, XXXTentacion, J. Cole, 50 Cent, Lil Yachty, Xanax, lean, and more. The 2018 XXL Freshman also indicated that he's thinking about removing the "smoke" from his stage name.
