Smoothe Da Hustla Preps Solo Album

Brooklyn, New York bred rapper Smoothe Da Hustla recently finished up a new solo album, Violenttimes Day.The album features production by DR Period, Tune Heads, J Lace and new upcoming producers."This is a bang out album, no question," Smoothe told "The first single is called 'I'm Wit That.'"The album is scheduled to hit shelves in the spring, on Smoothe's label, SMG.In related news, SMG the group, which features Ice-T and Trigga the Gambler, recently came off of a European tour promoting the group."It was the hottest two months ever," Smoothe said. "I thought my album just dropped the way they were cheering and singing the words to my first album. That was love. We are planning to go back this spring and I can't wait."Trigga is also finishing up his solo effort, 2nd Time Around, 1st Time Coming, as well as a new Smith Bros. album with Smoothe.SMG recently dropped a DVD, "Repossession," which features appearances by Method Man, Afrika Bambaata, Snoop, Bishop Don "Magic" Juan and others.
