The Hip Hop icon sits down with XXL to talk about the mag, his career, and the culture.

(AllHipHop News) Snoop Dogg was one of the rap acts featured on XXL’s 20th-anniversary cover. The outlet also spoke with the Doggfather to get his views on the culture.

In one section of the interview, the three-decade music industry veteran was asked to share the people he views as the most influential Hip Hop figures over the last twenty years. Snoop’s list covered legends from both the East Coast and the West Coast.

“I definitely will have to say Jay-Z. I would say E-40, Too $hort, Puff Daddy,” stated Uncle Snoop. “Just because of longevity, the way that they’ve been able to reinvent themselves, stay relevant, and stay true to who they are, and remain in the top five in conversation no matter what it is when it comes to Hip Hop.”
