SOB X RBE Join Forces With Hit-Boy For 'Family Not A Group' Project

(AllHipHop News) Last year, there were reports that Bay Area rap collective SOB X RBE were splitting up so the members could focus on their respective solo careers. This week, the emcees came back together for the Family Not A Group project.

In addition, veteran producer Hit-Boy joined with Slimmy B, Yhung T.O., Lul G, and Daboii for the 9-track effort. Family Not A Group features additional production by Chase N. Cashe, G Dav, JayB, and G. Ry.

This adds another body of work to SOB X RBE's catalog which includes Gangin and Gangin II as well as Roll the Dice with Marshmello and Tutuland with Big Money. Family Not A Group was released via Def Jam.

Hit-Boy has his own discography of mixtapes. The California native also teamed up with Dom Kennedy for Courtesy of Half-A-Mil. Yesterday, Hit-Boy previewed a David Camarena-directed Family Not A Group "film" on Instagram.
