(AllHipHop News) Heather Sanders and Brittney Turner's LA-based Sorella teamed up with the NYC streetwear company FUBU (For Us, By Us). The Sorella x FUBU collection will feature bomber jackets, t-shirts, sports bras and tops, trackpants and sweatsuits, cropped hoodies, and more.
Sanders selected British recording artist Rainy Milo and social media influencer Ashley Coco as models for the FUBU campaign. The apparel, inspired by 1990s-era styles, showcases the aesthetic collaboration between the cities of Los Angeles and New York City. Sorella x FUBU is scheduled to go live at sosorella.com on July 29.
Sorella was founded in 2012 and eventually sparked the #GirlsTour movement. Turner and Sanders were 20 years old at the time, and neither woman had a fashion background or training in the field. Daymond John, J. Alexander Martin, Keith Perrin, and Carl Brown launched FUBU in 1992. The iconic Hip Hop brand has sold more than $6 billion in merchandise at retail.
