Soulja Boy Duped Into Posting Anti-Semitic Messages For White Supremacists

The rapper was paid to post up a racist shoutout, but he had no clue what was really going on.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Soulja Boy was one of several celebrities who were tricked into posting anti-semitic messages, just as the Hannakuah celebration kicks off.

Soulja, Brett Favre and Andy Dick were using an app called Cameo, which allows fans to "book" celebrity shoutouts.

The problems started when a white supremacist group hired Soulja, Brett Favre and comedian Andy Dick to make coded, racists statements on behalf of the Goyim Defense League (GDL).

According to reports, two members of the group who call themselves “Handsome Truth” and “Sway Guevara” had Brett Favre post a message loaded with cryptic anti-semitic references.

“Shoutout to Handsome Truth and Sway at GDL...GDL for life, bitch," Soulja said in the video.

Soulja Boy also promoted a new "single" by the group titled “Name the Juice” on Soundcloud. He also urged people to subscribe to Handsome Truth 14's YouTube channel.

Soulja Boy's representatives offered up an apology to anyone who was offended by GDL's racist antics.

“Soulja Boy was unaware that the video on Cameo was tied to a group that promotes hate,” a representative said. “The promo video was what the Cameo had directed and in no way supports his personal beliefs. He greatly apologizes to anyone who may have been offended.”
