According to reports, Spotify is set to return XXX's music to its playlists like the influential RapCaviar collection. The streaming company's apparent decision to no longer ban the controversial musician comes after backlash from fans, other artists, music industry insiders, and Spotify employees.

R&B legend R. Kelly's tracks were also pulled off the playlists. It appears Spotify is still not planning to promote the alleged sexual abuser's music.

Both XXXTentacion and R. Kelly responded to their respective removals from Spotify's popular playlists. Kelly claimed he has never been accused of hate and pointed out he has never been found guilty of illegal activity. XXX questioned Spotify's position on other artists that have faced allegations of sexual misconduct and physical abuse.
