The latest collection includes illustrated 16-oz. cans and 20-oz. bottles featuring Hip Hop artists Logic, KYLE, and MadeinTYO. Social media comedian Jay Versace and music producer Wondagurl are part of the series as well.
“Given the growing reach and impact of Hip Hop culture, Sprite has always supported the industry’s up-and-coming creators,” says Stefan Miller, Sprite brand manager. “This series allows us to highlight the cool, crisp freshness of our brand and product while showcasing our partners in a new and different way by bringing their faces to the forefront.”
Miller continues, “The Fresh Faces Series extends this relationship, enabling hip-hop fans to enjoy and engage around the next generation of talent who are making their mark on the culture in new ways.”
A 30-second commercial starring Jay Versace will debut during the BET Awards on June 24. Fresh Faces will also be integrated into live performances and activations during the BET Experience in Los Angeles.
“Working with Sprite and alongside these talented musicians was an incredible experience,” said Versace. “I’m excited to see this series come to life and play a role in keeping this summer cool. But, I hope I’m never fresh out of Sprite again!”
Additionally, a summer-long marketing campaign will highlight the five personalities. The platform will include live and animated video as well as interactive social content across Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
All of the Sprite Fresh Faces cans and bottles will hit leading retailers this month. The products will be available until September 2 or while supplies last.
