State Of New York Goes After Nas In Los Angeles Over Taxes

The IRS wants a piece of Nas, no matter what state he's in.

(AllHipHop News) Nas may have recently dropped his new album The Lost Tapes Vol. 2, but that doesn’t exempt him from having to pay taxes.

The hip-hop mogul was recently slapped with tax warrants from the state of New York for owing $42,497.64 in back taxes.

Allegedly, the old tax warrants from New York have been lodged into his new home on the other side of the country in California.

Reports say the New York’s Commissioner of Taxation and Finance registered the judgments against the New York spitter in LA earlier this month.

It appears Nas’ debts stems from the income he earned back in 2011 and 2012.

It looks like New York tax authorities are not playing around.

Court documents reveal his wages, money, and property may be seized without warning if he doesn’t pay up.

Nas has yet to comment.

He'll probably pay em 50k and tell em keep the change... All before sunrise. All before 1 pancake is flipped and before 1 slice of bacon is laid in a frying pan

You people at All Hip-Hop actually pay Shirl Ju a salary to report Nasir Jones, a man that's worth more than over $55 million on owing 42k in back taxes. Really? Are you guys hiring for any other positions right now? Who can I e-mail my resume to?

Did you guys go through Nas's mail to find out this low grade info...... You just made an article about a man worth millions owing a 42 grand....
