(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump and his controversial policies have become a regular target of American entertainers. United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May is catching heat from celebrities across the pond as well.
Grime rapper Stormzy accepted a trophy for "Solo Artist of the Year" from Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn at the 2017 British GQ Men Of The Year Awards. In addition, the independent artist took the opportunity to publicly call out May.
"I do want to use this to say Theresa May is a paigon [snake/liar] and you know what we're doing right now," stated the 24-year-old performer. "Yeah, trust me. It's awkward when I say that, innit?"
2017 has been a breakout year for Stormzy. His Gang Signs & Prayer album became the first Grime project to open at #1 on the U.K. charts and also set a British record for the most first-week streams for a chart-topping LP.
