Suge Knight Associate Sentenced For Selling Deadly Hit & Run Footage To TMZ

The entertainment website paid Suge's ex and one of his boys a huge amount of money and now they are paying the price.

(AllHipHop News) An associate of Marion "Suge" Knight has been ordered to pay restitution and serve probation for conspiring to sell video footage of the incarcerated rap mogul's deadly hit-and-run.

Knight was charged with murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run for running down Terry Carter and Cle 'Bone' Sloan during an altercation in a Los Angeles parking lot in 2015. Carter was killed, but Sloan survived his injuries.

In July, 2017, Knight's girlfriend, Toilin Kelly, and his business partner, Mark Blankenship, were each hit with one felony count of conspiracy to violate a court order, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and conspiracy to commit grand theft charges after they reportedly sold a copy of the incident's video to TMZ editors for $55,000 .

The tape had been sealed as evidence for the Death Row Records co-founder's trial.

Toilin Kelly struck a plea deal with prosecutors to avoid jail in October, 2017, pleading no contest to conspiracy to violate a court order.

She was handed five years of probation, forced to pay $55,000 in restitution to bosses of Tam's Burgers, where the hit-and-run took place, and sentenced to 100 hours of community service.

On Wednesday, Blankenship, who was accused of arranging the sale, also received five years of formal probation and was also ordered to pay $55,000 in restitution after entering a no contest plea to one felony count of conspiracy to obstruct justice.

The news of Blankenship's sentence comes eight months after Suge Knight officially accepted a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter to avoid a lengthy murder trial.

Why does each person have to pay the full amount of the sale? I can see $55k plus a little on the top for being a dumb ass but $55k each, somebody gets paid twice?! smh, wicked system we deal with.......
