Swae Lee Planning Spin-off Of Travis Scott's Sicko Mode

Swae Lee hopes to turn his two words on "Sicko Mode" into a whole song.

(AllHipHop News) Swae Lee of rap duo Rae Sremmurd is planning to create his own solo track based on his hook for Travis Scott’s hit Sicko Mode.

On the recording, the second single from Scott's third studio album, Astroworld which also features Drake and Big Hawk, Lee can be heard singing “some—some—some, someone said,” at the beginning.

And in an interview, Lee shared he plans to expand his contribution into a full song.

“Fans really enjoyed the two words I said (on Sicko Mode), it was powerful words when I said, “someone said,” Lee explained. “Those two words is a broad topic. When I say ’someone said,’ they could have said anything, who knows what they said, everyone wants to know what was said. So I’m just branching off of that, taking what I did there and picking up where I left off.

"Some people don’t even know that’s Swae Lee (you’re) rocking to, they just know they love it and it’s doing something to their fking bodies," he added.

Lee, real name Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, hopes his spin-off will emulate the success of Scott's original, which hit number 4 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 9 in the U.K's Official Singles Chart.
