SZA's 'Ctrl' Album Earns Certified Platinum Status From The RIAA

The Grammy-nominated singer picked up four singles plaques too.

(AllHipHop News) SZA may still feel conflicted about her Ctrl album, but it appears the fans are confident about the quality of the LP. The project is now certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Ctrl crossing the 1 million units mark was not SZA's only new accomplishment. "Love Galore" (2x Platinum), "The Weekend" (2x Platinum), "Broken Clocks" (Gold), and "Garden" (Gold) each earned RIAA recognition as well.

"Very proud of the work we did on the Ctrl album. You guys went out and supported! And it’s still going! Thank you!" tweeted Top Dawg Entertainment President Terrence "Punch" Henderson.

TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith posted on Instagram, "Platinum Platinum Platinum... Congrats to our queen for putting together a great album #Ctrl.... Thank you to our fans! Moving units in a major way."
