“This is a very special moment for me and the whole Hustle Gang,” Tip told the crowd at Greenbriar Mall. “If y’all don’t know, this does begin a new beginning for myself as an artist and for Hustle Gang as a company. We have partnered with Roc Nation, and I am part owner of Tidal.”

Tip is the 19th artist owner of Tidal. He joins other Hip Hop representatives Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, and J. Cole as partners of the music and entertainment platform. Other music superstars such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Usher, Madonna, and Coldplay are also artist owners of the company.

The “TIDAL X TIP” concert event streamed live on Tidal. The show featured appearances by Young Thug, Young Dro, and Bankroll Mafia. The Grammy winner is set to release his next studio album, The Dime Trap, later this year. T.I.’s project will be distributed by Roc Nation.
