(AllHipHop News) Many Hip Hop acts have chosen to publicly support the Black Lives Matter movement as well as speak out against police brutality and systemic racism.
TheFamily Hustle star was a guest on last night's The Daily Show. Host Trevor Noah asked T.I. about the criticism placed on some rappers over them calling for justice but at the same time rapping about violence and saying "f-ck the police" in their music.
"People need to take into consideration that Hip Hop traditionally has always been a reflection of the environment that artist had to endure before he made it to where he was," replied Tip. "So if you want to change the content of the music, change the environment of the artist and he won't have such negative things to say."
