T.I. Reportedly Agrees To $75,000 Settlement With Former Restaurant Employees

Things didn't go well with Scales 925.

(AllHipHop News) Clifford "T.I." Harris' turn as a restaurateur didn't end the way he probably had hoped. The Atlanta-based entertainer's Scales 925 was forced to close its doors in 2016.

T.I. and his business partner Charles Hughes were hit with lawsuits filed by former employees of the restaurant. The workers sued for unpaid wages and overtime pay.

According to reports, Tip agreed to pay nine of the plaintiffs $8,333.33 each, for a total around $75,000. In May, Scales 925 reportedly filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

T.I. claimed he was not involved with the day-to-day operations of the business. However, the rapper/actor did promote the establishment and its "upscale southern cuisine."
