T.I. Taking Fight Against Security Guard To Trial

Rapper T.I. is standing up for his rights in a fight against a security guard in his gated community.

(AllHipHop News) Rap star T.I. is out for justice.

The rap star has pleaded not guilty, after he was arrested in front of his gated community in Atlanta, Georgia back in May.

T.I. was cuffed after a verbal altercation with a security guard, who denied the rap star entry into the gated Eagles Landing neighborhood, where he lives with his wife Tomeka "Tiny" Cottle.

"The guard was sound asleep when Tip arrived at the guardhouse," Steve Sadow said in a statement. "It took Tip sometime to wake the sleeping guard. Tip clearly identified himself and sought entry. The guard refused entry."

T.I. maintains the guard continued to become disorderly, even though his wife Tameka Tiny Cottle confirmed the rappers identity and status as a homeowner.

The cops were eventually called, and T.I. was charged with simple assault for allegedly threatening the sleeping security guard, as well as disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
