T-Pain Launches New Foundation; Plans All-Star Concert At Florida State

T-PAIN GIVES BACK TO HIS HOMETOWN OF TALLAHASSEE!

(AllHipHop News) Rapper/singer/producer T-Pain has announced a new foundation in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida.

T-Pain has launched the “If I Could Change the World” foundation, which will host a benefit concert in partnership with Florida State University’s Headliner Artists Series.

Artists like Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Young Cash and others will perform during the “Come To The Crib 2” benefit concert.

The concert is the second installment of a benefit series that T-Pain launched in 2007.

“I can’t wait to hit the stage for ‘Come to the Crib 2,’” said T-Pain. “Our fans and their support made it possible for us to build a new entertainment room for the kids at the Walker Ford Center and I hope this year will be even bigger.”

T-Pain’s “If I Could Change the World” foundation has partnered with Change Worlds, a non-profit which asks users to submit videos, and then selects an initiative to back, to make a difference.

“Hopefully my foundation inspires today’s youth to get involved with our communities, which is why I wanted to give my fans the control to choose this year’s charity. So go to www.changeworlds.org to help us select this year’s initiative.”

The “Come to the Crib 2″ benefit concert takes place at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center on March 31.

Tickets go on sale February 10, 2012.
