T-Pain's Managers Say He Squandered Millions Because He Can't Stop Spending

T-Pain's old managers are defending their rep's in a counter-suit against the hit producer.

(AllHipHop News) Singer/rapper T-Pain is facing a lawsuit filed by his former managers who he didn't need help blowing millions of dollars.

T-Pain, real name Faheem Najm sued executives at his old personal management firm Chase Entertainment, saying they owed him at least $1 million in misappropriated earnings.

Chase's lawyers have hit back, and in their lawsuit, they said the hip-hop star is trying to sue them because he's the one who actually owes.

The company claims T-Pain owes them $1 million in unpaid management commissions and called the claims "absurd and baseless."

"Sadly, much of that money was squandered by T-Pain, despite Chase's entreaties to T-Pain over the years that he control his profligate spending habits," their filing reads. "Unfortunately, T-Pain's financial self-destructive conduct continued unabated even after the parties ended their professional relationship."
