6ix9ine decided to skip a big show in D.C., but he managed to make it to a big show in New Jersey.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine cannot stay out of the headlines and it's for all the wrong reasons.

The rapper pissed off thousands of fans and students in Washington DC on Sunday when he blew off a highly-anticipated performance during Howard University's homecoming.

Thousands of people were turned away at the door and given full refunds when 6ix9ine decided to not show up for the performance.

Instead, he was busy entertaining his crowd in New Jersey, where he was a featured performer at Power 105.1's Powerhouse concert.

The promoter of the concert in D.C. said this was the second time 6ix9ine has blown off one of his bookings at this time it cost about $300,000.

The promoters of the event are currently mulling a lawsuit.

On Friday, the rap star dodged jail time after he violated the terms of his plea agreement after he pleaded guilty for the “use of a child in a sexual performance” back in 2015.

Hours later, a member of his entourage was shot in the stomach by his manager's new bodyguard, after the crew tried to push their way into a meeting at Phillipe Chow on the Upper-East side.
