The DEA Reportedly Investigating Lil Peep's Fentanyl Overdose Death

The Feds are now said to be involved in finding the drug dealers.

(AllHipHop News) Gustav "Lil Peep" Åhr passed away on November 15. Medical examiners in Arizona certified his cause of death as an accidental overdose due to the effects of fentanyl and Xanax.

According to TMZ, the involvement of fentanyl has led to the Drug Enforcement Administration joining the investigation. The DEA is reportedly focusing on finding the individual(s) that provided the performer with the narcotic.

Fentanyl is a powerful opioid pain medication. The 2016 death of music icon Prince was also connected to the drug.
