(AllHipHop News) The Weeknd has launched a new clothing collection featuring looks created with the help of fans.
The singer unveiled the line earlier this week, showing off an array of styles that combine futuristic and retro pieces. Named On Thursday, it marks the first capsule line in a series of releases.
The singer, born Abel Tesfaye, drew inspiration from fans Ayoob Ali and Abhidyu Sharma, who had been posting artistic tributes to him via Instagram.
Through the photo-sharing site, he connected with the artists and ultimately enlisted their skills to create the items.
Among the eight pieces are T-shirts, long-sleeved tops, a pullover, a zipped hoodie, and a flannel shirt - some of which feature graphics referring to different phases used in the Canadian-born star's career.
The designs play off the 29-year-old's hit projects Beauty Behind the Madness, Starboy, and My Dear Melancholy.
