(AllHipHop News) Tidal is adding another component to its music and entertainment platform.
Starting today (June 20) the streaming site will launch TIDAL On Air podcast playlists hosted by several industry veterans.
“The Voice Of New York” Angie Martinez and radio personality Minya “Miss Info” Oh are leading the monthly In Real Life show.
Martinez and Oh will discuss music, motherhood, and more.
“In Real Life, Miss Info and I are friends and confidants and there isn’t much we haven’t seen. The podcast creates a platform where we can have uninterrupted conversation about our lives and views will be a lot of fun for both of us. Can’t wait for Tidal members to check it out!” states Martinez.
Hip Hop journalist Elliott Wilson is set to bring back his Rap Radar Podcast with Brian “B. Dot” Miller.
The first episode of the weekly pod features a conversation with All Eyez On Me director Benny Boom.
“I’m beyond excited to relaunch the Rap Radar Podcast with my partner, Brian “B.Dot” Miller. Our well-informed perspectives and commanding interview skills will prove that we deserve to be recognized as one of Hip Hop’s premier outlets,” says Wilson, Tidal’s editorial director of hip-hop culture and content. “This is just a taste of the incredible content we are creating here at Tidal. Let’s just say it’s gonna be an interesting summer. Ha!”
In addition, former Hot 97 deejay Cipha Sounds will invite different individuals every month to The Guest Spot for comical debates on various topics.
Stefi Chacon will also interview some of the biggest names and next big stars in the Latin pop and urban genres on En La Mira.
Themed episodes – such as specials covering Hispanic Heritage Month and Colombian Independence Day – will be hosted by Luis Jimenez as well.
