(AllHipHop News) Many critics of Tom Brady (e.g., ESPN's Max Kellerman) had to work hard to find a reason to berate the quarterback after the New England Patriots advanced to the AFC title game. The 41-year-old, 3-time NFL MVP presented a sly message to his doubters.
"Great team win. We're on to Kansas City, baby! Let's go!" said Brady in an Instagram video posted on Monday. The clip featured 50 Cent's "Many Men (Wish Death)" song playing over highlights from the Patriots-Chargers playoff game.
Fiddy's Get Rich or Die Tryin' track includes the New York native rapping, "Many men wish death upon me. Blood in my eye, dawg, and I can't see. I'm tryin' to be what I'm destined to be. And n*ggas tryin' to take my life away."
TB12's use of "Many Men" could be interpreted as a shot to his detractors and a warning to the Kansas City Chiefs fan base. 50 Cent appreciated Brady adopting his record as a metaphorical bullet. He tweeted, "Oh sh*t he gonna do it again, he listening to (many men) getting his mind right. #TomBrady let’s go!"
