(AllHipHop News) Earlier this year, Tory Lanez told the story of how Nicki Minaj was removed from "Shooters." According to the Toronto native, Nicki requested that she be taken off the Memories Don't Die song because Lanez asked her to alter her verse.
Lanez sat down with the Big Boy's Neighborhood radio show to promote his new Love Me Now? album. The conversation included him being questioned about the situation with Nicki.
"I don't really talk to Nicki Minaj. She don't talk to me either. I never really had a crazy relationship with her," explained Lanez. "I never came at her no kind of way. I was just saying something about the verse [like,] 'Maybe we could try switching this part with his part.' Just a suggestion. [She responded,] 'Nah, take me off the song.'"
Tory continued, "But then you get on an interview and be like, 'Quavo told me I had to switch my verse. Then I had to go and take time and re-write my verse.' So what, when Quavo tell you something? I don't get it. I'm just trying to understand. Maybe their relationship is different."
In April, Nicki Minaj revealed that she had issues with Quavo at one point over Cardi B allegedly asking her to change a bar on their "Motorsport" collaboration with Migos. Quavo's "Huncho Dreams" song recently had listeners wondering if he had a sexual relationship with Minaj.
