Tory Lanez Talks 'I Told You Memories Don't Die' Movie With 50 Cent

The Toronto entertainer says his upcoming production is different from other rapper's short films.

(AllHipHop News) In recent years, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has dived deeply into the film world. The Queens representative starred in the 2018 heist flick Den of Thieves and is set to appear in Escape Plan 2: Hades.

Tory Lanez is also supposedly working on a movie with 50 Cent. The singer/rapper spoke with Beats 1's Ebro about I Told You Memories Don't Die which is said to be based on the stories from Tory's two studio albums I Told You and Memories Don't Die.

"It's not gonna have any music videos in it," explained Lanez. "Everyone's doing these random 'short films' for their albums all of a sudden which I kind of feel like a lot of people are biting from me."

He added, "This is a full-on 45 to 50-minute short film. That area is where we're aiming for. I'm doing a real feature film, not a rap video or a musical."

Tory Lanez and 50 Cent connected for the "Pieces" track off Memories Don't Die. The LP also features Future, Nav, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
