(AllHipHop News) Travis Scott's fans have been patiently waiting for AstroWorld. It was divulged on Monday that the project is finally arriving on August 3.

Zane Lowe spoke to Travis about the forthcoming studio LP. The 26-year-old Texas native explained the connection between AstroWorld and his debut album Rodeo.

"AstroWorld’s been set in stone since Rodeo. My whole idea was, if you locked into Rodeo, you definitely locked into AstroWorld," explained Scott. "I’m just finishing the saga I started on my first album. This is supposed to be my second album. I had to go quick, because I had all these ideas, I just had to get off real quick, but now I’m finally back home with AstroWorld."

Besides dropping another collection, Scott is also bringing back Beats 1's .WAV Radio. Chase B will be joining him on the Apple Music show.

"I’m going to drop mad songs that I was working on in the process of working on the album, a lot of unreleased records I was working on during the album. I’m going to play that sh-t on .WAV Radio," said Scott. "I’m just going to let Chase have fun. I’m just at that point where it’s time to unleash anything I was working on or any feel, anything inspired me for the album. It’s coming back, .WAV Radio."

AstroWorld comes after 2016's #1 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. Travis Scott also teamed with Migos member Quavo for Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho in 2017.
