Travis Scott's 'Astroworld' Blocks 6ix9ine's 'Dummy Boy' From Debuting At No. 1

The LP becomes the fifth project to spend at least three weeks in the top spot this year.

(AllHipHop News) According to sale projections, Travis Scott's Astroworld and 6ix9ine's Dummy Boy were in a very close race for the #1 spot on the Billboard 200. The final numbers are in, and Travis pulled out the win.

Astroworld picked up another 71,000 equivalent album units in its 17th week on the chart. This gives the project its third non-consecutive week in the lead position.

Dummy Boy opened at #2 with 66,000 units. 6ix9ine's debut studio LP only had three days of activity in the tracking week. The currently incarcerated rapper was forced to drop the set on November 27 after it leaked online.

Travis Scott's return to #1 was partly the result of him selling merchandise/album bundles for Cyber Monday. Back in August, Nicki Minaj criticized the Texan for using bundles to outsell her Queen album, even though she offered merch/album packages too.
