Travis Scott Tops Hot 100 Chart & Billboard 200 Chart At The Same Time

Ariana Grande congratulates the Texas-bred rhymer.

(AllHipHop News) Travis Scott just earned his first career #1 single on the Hot 100 as "Sicko Mode" jumped over Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next." The Hip Hop artist's AstroWorld is also at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 album chart.

This makes Scott the third act in 2018 to top the Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 simultaneously. Drake led both charts with "Nice for What" and Scorpion in July. Camila Cabello also pulled off the double chart-topping accomplishment when "Havana" and Camila controlled the Number One spots at the same time.

"Sicko Mode" includes contributions from Drake and Rae Sremmurd member Swae Lee. Skrillex produced a remix version of the song which helped the track rise to #1.

Grande was not a sore loser about surrendering the pole position on the Hot 100. She tweeted to Scott, "So f*cking dope. congratulations!" He responded, "U know it blood gang sh*t."
