Trina first addressed the rumors on Twitter, but the Miami native went into further detail about the ordeal in a recent interview.
"Honestly, I'm not thinking about those people. So I don't understand why anybody would even feel that way or think that, because there's nothing in the song directed at anybody," stated Trina.
"Da Baddest Bitch" goes on to say that she does not need to throw shots at anyone to get attention. She believes her music speaks for itself.
"I don't take jabs. I don't do the diss thing. I don't do the sneaky thing. I'm not a gimmick. I'm a real artist. I'm a real woman," Trina added. "I've been doing this for 14 years, and I don't need any tricks or trickery around me to put out a great record. This is something I'm known for doing. I guess I get it, because people are always looking for something to talk about, something to make a big deal out of, but for me I could really care less."
