Tupac's Estate Snatches Masters Back From Label After Nasty Court Battle

She may not have lived it to see it, but Afeni Shakur is victorious.

(AllHipHop News) The estate of Tupac Shakur has won a long-standing legal battle over the rap star's masters.

According to reports, E1 has finally settled a five-year war in court with the estate of Tupac Shakur.

The lawsuit first headed to court in September of 2013 over unpaid royalties due to the estate for the album Beginnings: The Lost Tapes.

E1 has agreed to pay a six-figure settlement to the estate, which was administered by Pac's mom Afeni Shakur before she died in May of 2016.

In addition to the settlement, the masters are expected to bring in millions of dollars for Tupac's estate.
