(AllHipHop News) 2017's Flower Boy debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, giving Tyler, The Creator the highest charting album of his career until that point. According to Forbes, the Hip Hop artist now has an official chart-topper with IGOR.
74,000 pure sales and 122 million streams helped IGOR collect 165,000 first-week units. That total is nearly 60,000 more than the 106,000 initial units for Flower Boy.
Tyler shared his reaction to the chart news with his 8 million Twitter followers. He tweeted, "IGOR, NUMBER UNO, STANK YOU." He returned to the app to write, "Honestly [didn't] think people would enjoy this album based on [a lot] of [things], so again, thank you, I mean it."
DJ Khaled’s Father of Ashad (136,000 units) had to settle for the runner-up position on the Billboard 200. According to HitsDailyDouble, Tyler and Khaled are competing with Billie Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? for the #1 spot on next week's chart.
