(AllHipHop News) Rapper Tyler, The Creator is super heated with fans who booed Drake offstage, after the rapper made a special appearance at the 2019 Camp Flog Gnaw festival.
Tyler thought inviting Drake to the stage at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on Sunday night (November 10th) as part of his annual gig would be a great idea.
Drake ended up cutting short his set after finding himself facing a hostile reception because most people thought Frank Ocean was going to be the big surprise for Camp Flog Gnaw.
Tyler has discussed the fan's resentment in a series of Twitter posts and even admitted Drake wasn't the best choice for his fans at Camp Flog Gnaw.
“I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE F**KING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE!” he began. “BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW (sic).”
The "Odd Future" star then turned on the few crowd members who had behaved badly after realizing Ocean wasn’t going to appear: “SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE A##HOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT F##K WITH THAT),” he raged.
Other artists to perform at this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw included YG, DaBaby, A$AP Rocky, and Lil Uzi Vert.
