Tyrese Gibson Given Permission To Visit His Daughter Amid Court Battle With Her Mom
(AllHipHop News) Tyrese Gibson will reportedly be able to see his daughter for the first time in almost two months after his ex-wife agreed to allow the actor monitored visits during a court showdown on Friday.
Norma Gibson stripped the "Furious 7" star of his paternal rights after accusing him of spanking 10-year-old Shayla so hard she couldn’t sit down.
She also won a temporary restraining order against the star, who maintained he only smacked his daughter once on the bottom during a family row.
The former couple faced off in court this week as Norma fought for a permanent restraining order against her ex while claiming he abused her during their marriage.
That battle will continue next week, but for now, Tyrese has been given permission to visit his daughter again and sources said he will get the opportunity to hang out with her again on today (October 29).
Insiders tell the outlet the existing restraining order has been modified to allow for a six-hour visit with a court-appointed monitor present.
Tyrese was back in court for the decision on Friday after checking into the hospital on Thursday night, complaining of chest pains and anxiety.
