UGK Locks Up #1 Slot On Three Charts

UGK's seventh album UGK (Underground Kingz) debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top 200, R&B, and Rap Album charts.The double CD, which features appearances by rappers like T.I., Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Three 6 Mafia, OutKast, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, as well as Charlie Wilson and Raheem DeVaughn.UGK moved over 160,000 copies in the United States, giving the group their best first week sales ever.Fort Meyers, Florida rapper Plies' Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic release The Real Testament landed at #2 with 96,000 units sold, while The "NOW 25" compilation holds the #3 slot for the second week in a row.In related news, UGK will release a limited-edition, 26-song, two-CD set of UGK (Underground Kingz), with a bonus DVD.The new CD/DVD combo will feature videos and in-depth interviews with UGK, OutKast, T.I., David Banner, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Three 6 Mafia and others.
