Universal Hip-Hop Museum Gets An Opening Date

The Universal Hip-Hop Museum has gone from being an idea to a reality. Check out some details on the new space in the Bronx.

(AllHipHop News) The highly anticipated "Universal hip-hop museum" as an official opening date.

According to plans released by L+M Development Partners, The museum will open in early 2022.

The museum will be built inside of a new 1045 unit housing development called "Pranks point" along with a development company called Type A Projects.

"The Universal Hip Hop Museum may be the single most important project for the preservation of Hip-Hop culture. This new cultural institution will be a great new tourism destination for NYC and the Bronx. What a great day for Hip-Hop! Our four years of hard teamwork has paid off. I thank God, as I am elated to know that this mecca devoted to the cultural phenomenon of Hip-Hop will preserve not only my legacy but also the legacies of many others for the world to see,” said Kurtis Blow, Chairman of the Universal Hip-Hop Museum.

Other amenities will be included in the huge, ambitious housing project, including a multiplex movie theater, a beverage all an education space.
