(AllHipHop News) UPDATE: Philly rapper Meek Mill was thought to have scored a huge victory in court today, but new information was revealed stating the opposite.
Local court officials have come forward to reveal an "administrative error" was to blame for listing Meek as having an official hearing in front of Judge Genece Brinkley on Monday the 27th at 9:00 am.
Judge Brinkley originally sent the rapper to prison for 2 to 4 years for minor probation violations last week (November 6th) has agreed to give the rapper another hearing.
Judge Genece Brinkley appears to have buckled under the pressure of the nationwide outcry over the fairness of her sentence.
In addition to protests in downtown Philadelphia, dozens of celebrities offered their unwavering support for Meek.
Artists like T.I., Rick Ross, and Jay-Z have all spoken up in support of Meek while blasting the judge's ruling as an example of the injustices lurking in the prison system.
Other notables came forward to defend the rapper as well, including the 76ers, billionaire businessman Michael Rubin, Julius "Dr. J" Erving and other notables from the city of Philadelphia.
The rapper's legal team recently filed motions to remove Judge Brinkley from Meek's case and get the rapper released from prison.
