Vic Mensa Slams Donald Trump On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (VIDEO)

“IF YOU DON’T VOTE, RACISM WINS”

(AllHipHop News) Vic Mensa took his anti-police brutality song “16 Shots” to national TV.

The Chicago spitter performed the track on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and was joined by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

At one point the There’s Alot Going On EP creator stopped the band to address the audience.

“I’m a young, black man from Chicago, and I’m tired of not being able to trust the police,” said Mensa. “I want to have faith in the men and women sworn to protect me. I don’t want to see another 17-year-old kid like Laquan McDonald murdered in the street.”

He continued, “So when I hear a candidate talking about ‘law and order’ and ‘stop and frisk’ as the answer to our problems, you don’t know our problems in Chicago and you damn sure don’t speak for us.”

The Roc Nation emcee was referring to Republican candidate Donald Trump’s so-called African-American outreach and anti-crime agenda.

“You got to get out and vote against hate because Donald Trump is a racist,” added Mensa. “If you don’t vote, racism wins.”
